The University Medical Service Office (UMSO), in collaboration with the Hong Kong Red Cross, hosted a hands-on First Aid Demonstration Workshop for staff from the Estates Management Office (EMO), Physical Education Unit (PEU) and Security Office (SCU) on Thursday, 5 July 2024. This scenario-based simulation practice reinforced the application of basic first-aid knowledge and equipped participants with the skills to provide immediate treatment in the event of accidental injuries on campus. Featuring realistic emergency scenarios, the training enhanced the preparedness and emergency response capabilities of these key campus teams to maintain a safe working environment. UMSO will organize more educational activities to promote occupational safety and health on campus.
